Plaid Friday 

Friday, November 29th 

10 am - 7 pm 

Plaid Friday is a special day for deal lovers all across Alexandria! Shop local and save all day at Old Town Books, where folks who come in wearing plaid take 20% off their entire purchase ALL DAY! 

We’re also offering a special buy four get the fifth free for all of our kids and grown ups Gift Guide titles. These are bookseller approved, read and vetted by our team and sure to make great gifts for the bookworm in your life. Our 5 for 4 promo runs all day, too. 

Small Business Saturday 

Saturday, November 30th 

9:30 am - 7 pm 

Small Business Saturday features our beloved $5 book cart, plus the 5 for 4 deal on Gift Guide titles all day. But you know what else is super special about Small Business Saturday? SANTA! 

That’s right, in addition to our regularly scheduled Saturday Storytime at 9:30 am, we have a special guest later in the morning: Santa Claus is coming to sign books and read stories for all from 11 am - 1 pm. This is a free event and no RSVP is needed. Storytime will start on the hour at 11 am and noon, with time for pictures and book signings to follow.
